Samsung, as per older reports, is expected to ditch its Galaxy Note series in a bid to focus on its foldable display smartphones. One of the smartphones that the company is expected to launch next year is the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3. This phone will be succeeding the Galaxy Z Fold 2 that was launched earlier this year. Now, a new report has detailed some of the features that we expect to see in Samsung’s next-generation smartphone.
As per a report by The Elec, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will come with a 7-inch display on the inside. On the outside, it will have a 4-inch touchscreen display. If this is true, the outer display in Galaxy Z Fold 3 will be much smaller than the 6.2-inch display on the Galaxy Z Fold 2.
The report also says that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will get an under panel camera along with support for S-Pen stylus. It will also come with low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LPTO) thin-film transistors (TFT) that will improve the power efficiency of the display.
Older reports hint towards the phone getting an under-display camera. Additionally, reports hint towards the third Galaxy Fold smartphone will cost the same as the Galaxy Fold 2. The 256GB variant of the Galaxy Z Fold 2 costs ₹1,49,999. If the report is true, the Galaxy Fold 3 will most likely cost the same. Apart from Galaxy Z Fold 3, Samsung is also expected to launch the Galaxy Z Flip 2 and Galaxy Z Fold Lite smartphones. That said, Samsung hasn’t confirmed anything yet. So we will keep our fingers crossed for now.
